Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Commander in Chic, is a beautiful late summer to early fall color.
The color itself is a light milk chocolate. The Complete Salon Manicure line has an amazing application. It is not streaky and goes on with such ease. The brush itself is flat and wide but has a curved edge to mimic the shape of your nail bed. Depending on where you live, the price can run from 7.00-9.00 U.S. dollars.
This color is perfect for day or evening looks. Although the color itself is quite opaque it is neutral enough to go with all outfits.
I really enjoy using this brand and recommend you try a color before you pick up another Essie or OPI bottle.

IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SWIPE!!
My new fascination is from Chanel. It's the Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour in 559 Frenzy. This color to me is a nude, and has this creamy mushroom beige coloring to it. It's beautiful.
The application is absolutely amazing. First coat is light almost borderline streaky, which really scared me. But, the second coat is amazing. It applies so evenly and with such richness.
The part that I love was NO pooling around your cuticles or nail bed, like some lighter colors tend to do.
Just a fabulous all around formula.
Longevity of this product has been two days..so far. I do use a fast dry top coat on my nails and so far no fading or chipping.
Chanel's nail polish runs for $26.00 and that is the only negative I find in this product. Most of the the time I would say we are paying for "the name" but I will say that this time we are also paying for a great formulation.
I recommend trying this color. It is the perfect "nude" that can go with any outfit, does not wash out your hand coloring and would look great on your feet also!

TOO FACED BETTER THAN FALSE LASHES..REVIEW
Let me first start out by saying my lashes are on the thin to short side of the spectrum. Also, they have no curve to them and can be very droopy.
Too Faced Better Than False Lashes (TFBTFL) is a system that comes with a mascara and a tube of nylon fibers. The mascara is not waterproof and the formula is a bit wet. The reason for that is because they want your bottom and top coat to be tacky enough so that the nylon fibers will adhere to your lashes. When you apply the nylon fibers you will see some float off the wand. I wear contacts and they did not irritate my eyes.
The system requires you to put a base coat of the mascara, then a coat of the nylon fibers and then follow with a top cost of the mascara. The thicker you want your eyelashes to be the more coats of base and top coat you will apply.
The problem I have with this product is that it is NOT waterproof. Because of my low droopy lashes I need the waterproof formula to keep a curl in my lash. To some of you that may not be a hindrance, but for me, it can make or break a mascara. If they were able to make a waterproof line also then I can say it was a good concept. Unlike nylon fibers that are also found in some mascara's, these do stay on your lashes. The product is very easy to come off, I use Ponds Cold Cream, and did not have any difficulty.
The nylon fibers can be used with a different mascara, but if you decide to go that route, you will need to use a mascara with a wet formula. Unfortunately, if the formula is too wet clumping can occur and then this process will become a huge ordeal.
Final thoughts...good idea but it does not "compare" to false lashes. For those of you with longer lashes it may enhance the thickness but not too much for the length. If you have short lashes it will increase both, but unless you have a natural curl to your lashes then you need a waterproof formula.
This product cost 35.00 and it is sold exclusively at Sephora.
I am not a fan of this product and I would not recommend anyone to buy it. If you want a false lash look, buy some false lashes and practice. I taught myself by watching beauty YouTubers. I recommend http://www.youtube/emilynoel83 She does some great tutorials on how to apply fake lashes.
All you need is patience and some practice and it can be a quick process once mastered and you can clean and reuse your lashes!!
Best to have the "real" thing than a substitute like The Too Faced product.

L'OREAL COLOUR RICHE REVIEW
I decided to give a try, AGAIN, for the L'oreal Colour Riche lip balm in 173 Velvety Fuchsia. Fuchsia is one of my favorite lip colors, so of course I couldn't resist. This is what I found.
Very light pigmentation if you what to compare them to the Revlon Lip Butter, which I am. The consistency is smooth but the moisture seems to just sit on the lip. Similar to putting a lip balm with SPF in it or a lip treatment. Swatch on the hand it looks beautiful but nowhere near intense on the lips. The shine lasts as long as the color, which is very limited. You will need to reapply numerous times thru out the day, especially if you talk a lot, drink, or smoke.
My recommendation for this product is you will need a lip liner to prolong the "wear time" of this product. The only pro I see in this product is if you are someone looking for a pop a color but afraid to take the plunge, this would be a great beginner lipstick.
I was not a fan of these lipsticks last year in 2011 and I am still unimpressed. This was one of the brightest shades and although they have improved on pigmentation, they are no way leading the pack.

LET'S LASH OUT!!!
I never gave my lower lashes enough love. They are short and a bit stubby and I was cruel to them. They never got my full attention. Until now!
Awhile back I had heard about Clinique having a small mascara wand for the lower lashes but it was never a quest for me to purchase. One day in Sephora I decided to take the plunge, and am I happy I did.
The bristles are tiny, the formula is just right. Not too wet, not too dry..I know, I sound like Goldylocks!! The brush catches every little hair on my lower lash line and doesn't give me that crazy "Twiggy" look. I love that it is a brown/black color, which ironically, I bought by mistake. Lately, I haven't had to line my lower waterline because I feel that my lashes help define my eyes enough.
I have not seen any smudging or flaking and I love this product just for that reason alone. I would recommend you check out the Clinique lower lash mascara...If you are neglecting you lower lashes, STOP...they need love too :)

RE-ORGANIZING!!
Tis Spring Cleaning time at my home and everything has been cluttered and chaotic from the winter!
Shoes need to be rotated from boots to slip-on's, coats need to be tucked away and my makeup room was a wreck!
At some point during the dreary winter months I lost all ability to put even a single eyeshadow away. Was it because of the lack of sunshine, or just plain laziness?? I'll let u decide, but I knew that it was time to get my rear in check and start prioritizing!!
I decided my makeup/filming room need a little spoofing and after watching a YouTube video from @OrganizedlikeJen, it was a perfect platform to help me begin my tasks! Instead of another video update I decided to post some pics here on my blog to give everyone an idea of my new organization system.
Many drawers were changed and rearranged and a few new products from the Container Store were implemented!!
The Container Store had a sale on their acrylic drawer organizers and I made sure to partake in those savings!
I also got a few new brush holders that were actually cheaper and larger than the one I had before!
I hope you get some helpful tips from my pictures and get ready for Spring with me!! :)
